I have been trying to uninstall Microsoft Works v.8
Every time I try I get error code 1606. I don't have the disc for this program (that I can find, anyway), so I hope I don't need it to uninstall the program.
Please help, I don't use the programs and need to free up space on my hard drive.

OS: Windows XP SP3

Thanks for any help!!

You could try Revo Uninstaller.
May or may work since you get the error message, but it's worth a shot.

Revo didn't work, still getting the error.

Complete error message reads: error 1606: could not access network location

Any other suggestions?
