Welcome to Bleeping Computer, a free community where people like yourself come together to discuss and learn how to use their computers. Using the site is easy and fun. As a guest, you can browse and view the various discussions in the forums, but can not create a new topic or reply to an existing one unless you are logged in. Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site. When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix logs. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.
To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

It is known as "Trojan-Downloader.Win32.FraudLoad.epn" and has been known as a high-risk. Or whatever. Apparently, the path of the file was detected "C:\Windows\System32\msxml71.0ll" Is this the start of a terrible virus? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Firzan |

Hi Firzan,
This is picked up by the Kaspersky online scan, so let's start with the following. First a cleaner to get rid of any temp files that could restart the infection, then a standard scan we use here and then the Kaspersky. I recommend that you additionally do the following: Step 1: ATF Cleaner
Step 2: MalwareBytes
Step 3: Updating your Java
Step 4: Next I would like for you to run an online scan called Kaspersky Webscanner
Step 5: Please post the logs or reports for the following:
Kaspersky Online Scan Let me know how this went? Zllio |
