avira, comodo firewall, hijackthis, malwarebytes, and peerguardian. is there anything else that youd recommend? thanks

If you do not have advanced knowledge about computers or training in malware investigation, you should NOT fix anything with tHijackThis without consulting a expert as to what to fix. Using this tool incorrectly could adversely impact your system.

You are welcome. I have read on here somewhere that SpywareBlaster either isn't needed with Vista, or isn't compatible. I cannot remember which one it was though.
