What is it with Microsoft and their advertising campaigns?

This ad for Internet Explorer 8 shows a woman who finds an offensive website that makes her puke. Warning, very, very gross.

That has to be some sort of spoof.. there is NO way that could be for real. I cannot get my head around that at all. Was that actually Dean Cain? LOL WTG Superman!

Seriously.. I don't know that I have heard of a real commercial ad with censor bleeps in it.. but I could be wrong.

I have. It was for something with an Ozzy Osbourne (sp?) commercial that I saw. I think it was more for poking fun with the censor thing where kids were saying this and that and....bleh, I'm not sure. I just remember seeing that commercial.

EDIT: Nevermind, found a more recent thing that has a bleep. It's a commercial advertising for World of Warcraft.

And, yes, this really was a commercial (except for the last couple of seconds....I don't think I saw that part of it).

Yep I remember seeing that (Still on now I think, not very often though), even that last part where he says something like "what's your bleeping game"

As for that IE Ad if that is real then it's been blocked here because I haven't seen it and even if it got through to be shown we (Probably like many other countries) have sad sacks who go watch channels and other programs they know they aren't going to like just to complain and try getting it removed or something else.

Anyway as some would say, "That ad is sick" whistling.gif thumbup2.gif
