hey guys
just wounding how can i still use my ubuntu drive under windows me
i like to have some thing like fs-driver(only works on nt platforms) mabye theres a older fs driver for win me

or should i just reformat ubuntu in fat32 ? can you guys tell me how to get my updates files
as the update files were over 100mb

or should i parition the 20 gb ubuntu drive so there be 4 gb (whats the lowest gb i should go ?) left for ubuntu and then parition the other space into 16gb and format it in fat32 so both OS can use the 16gb drive as space ?

I would recommend making a shared FAT partition. The lowest I would go for the Ubuntu partition is 10GB, just to be safe.

Its hard to access ext3 Linux partition from Windows Me, so why not access Windows fat32 partition from within Ubuntu ?
Ubuntu can access Fat16/32, NTFS and others.
