I finish loading the map and my game freezes and sounds in the game repeats. If there is nobody in the map (i create it), then I don't freeze.

my specs are

Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64 bit
Gateway (manufacturer)
Intel Core i7 2.67 GHz Processor
9 Gigs of RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4850 video card

Make sure you don't have any programs running in the background like anti-viruses, firewalls, instant messengers, or other programs that could be conflicting with it.

You may be better off asking on the cs 1.6 specific forum on the steam website. I'm sure others with a similar set up as you are experiencing similar problems.
