Hello,
So i've been on my laptop for about 6 months, & i've cycled through some security measures to see what i'm comfortable with.
I now don't need a power-on password, but i did set one some time ago...
Is there a way to 'erase' my power-on password that the BIOS prompts for?
I'm on an HP Pavilion DV7 1245dx.
(I've opened this laptop up before, so it's not an issue if that has to happen here... any help would be greatly appreciated so thanks in advance)
(PSS - i've taken up TrueCrypt, which will be asking for a password when Windows Vista starts up since i've encrypted the volume it's on)
Again, thanks in advance, folks.
