ive just installed Ubuntu on my pc for the first time i have used it before but only on my laptop so i didnt have this problem, i downloaded WINE and got wow running on linux which was easy, but the game runs slow and usually just crahses to me it looks like graphics issues so i figured id upgrade my drivers but i cant do it from the ATI site, so im wondering is there anything i can do? id really rather not go back to windows i much prefer linux. my card is an X1550 i have the windows drivers but their obviously not much use.

Re: Ubuntu ATI RADEON R520 - RV516 - X1550 - X1k cards
ATI X1550 only works with open course driver in Jaunty (9.04) and is included by default. There are no proprietary fglrx drivers for that card that work in Jaunty. If you want to use fglrx drivers you will have to use Ibex or Hardy.
