i am xl newbie. using Ms Office 2007 i tried using randbetween(0,100) function. and produced a column of marks. then used vloopup function to assign grades to students. then saved the document and reopened. upon every opening of the document the "marks " columns are changing and hence the "Grades" column also. i want marks, not to change until i manually change. my question is on using randbetween() function, is it its property to change the values of the cells it is applied to on every reopening of the document? 1)please explain the behaviour of randbetween()!! 2) Also please tell me if i am asking to change the nature of randbetween () function.. Thanks for all the help friends |
