Hey guys, I've had my Asus F6A laptop for about a month now and recently i got a blue screen for PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA. Also, when i try to install Malwarebyes and spybot, malwarebyte's stops responding at the end of the installation, and spybot stop resopnding when i try to open the program. It is very strange. Also, I have a NJstar program which is for reading/typing chinese. Whenever i have this program on, and i try to use msn messenger, msn stops responding. Does anyone know what's wrong?

If mbam won't install or run

Some types of malware will disable MBAM and other security tools. If MBAM will not install, try renaming it. Right-click on the mbam-setup.exe file and change the .exe extension to .bat, .com, .pif, or .scr and then double-click on it to run.

If after installation, MBAM will not run, open the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder in Program Files, right-click on mbam.exe and change the .exe as noted above. Then double-click on it to run.

Hey! Thanks alot, both malwarebytes and spybot have installed and im running them right now!!! would you know what type of maleware would cause this problem? Also as i previously stated, whenever i open the program called NJStar, msn messenger freezes. It has happened like the first day i got the laptop so im not sure if it is a trojan/virus or wotever. Any ideas?

I've seen brand new units right from the store with viruses on them

I would more likely suspect some incompatibility problems
