Hi there..this not a problem as such but I have a Gigabyte K8NS ultra S939 Mobo & it has a RAID controller function that I do not know what I can use it for..any help?

Here is a great explanation of Raid

RAID

Basically it's putting 2 harddrives together and making them one. Since 2 hards are better than one. You will see about a 53% faster read write times

I agree.

Since I use RAID 0, I move at light speed. But there are draw backs. If one of my drives gets corrupted. Bad news!

I lose everything!
