For some strange reason, I have been unable to open any .exe files or print any .pdf files recently. I am uxing Windows XP. Have been using Kapersky antivirus for ~ 1month now. Any ideas?

Hm. Have you upgraded to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010? I did yesterday and the program it so much better! Faster startup, better program interface, etc. But the only downside to me is that you have to reset all of your scanning settings and the other settings.

No. Actually what I have is the Kaspersky 2009. What is strange is that anytime I click on an .exe file, it opens to my default home page. Any ideas?

P.S. Kaspersky offers free upgrades to the recent versions of products. So if you have 2009, then you will get a free upgrade to 2010.

Thanks, I will try these options and see if that fixes the issue. Also, thanks for the information regarding Kaspersky.
