I thought someone pointed this out before, here, however I guess it was somewhere else.

Anywho, I just the most recent version 1.0.614, and have the latest definitions and the icon in the taskbar has changed from red to blue.

I'm not upset, I'm just curious as to why this is happening. Anywho, anyone else have this..

Are you running terminal server(remote desktop)?

If you do a search for this issue on the web, it comes up with several articles that reference that this is a known bug when running terminal server(remote desktop).

It could also be doing an update....

If you reboot does it still appear?

Its gone now, however I was using Remote Desktop somewhat before that happened. But I stopped using the on-access protection of MSAS, and started using SpySweeper. MSAS takes up too much resources.
