Greetings--I can't directly access links sent to me in Outlook Express. Have to copy and paste them to adress bar to open them. I suspect it may be a setting in one of my security programs.
I am using XP SP2 Home, Avast anti-virus, Microsoft Anti-Spyware. Ad-aware SE. SpywareBlaster, WinPatrol.

Thanks in advance.

Try this: Click start, click run, type regsvr32 urlmon.dll and click okay, this should reregister urlmon.dll and hopefully fix your problem.

Quite frankly, you are much safer doing a copy/paste from an Email link to your browser, just as you are reading Emails in plain text.
