There are several different variants of that motherboard, the M4A78T-E takes DDR3 memory but the others take DDR2. Make sure you know which one you have before purchasing to avoid problems. Memory prices vary by manufacturer and model. That said, a number of RAM kits will work well. As always, once you've installed the RAM, run a memory checker, such as memtest, to check for errors with the RAM.
