previously UNINSTALLED software ---oprera comes to mind.......geeeez what a pain to get rid of some of the scattered hooks, pointers, etc---FREE it seems to be harder than it should for me to find something FREE that will do the job.........thank you

Never tried it, but some people seem to like the Revo uninstaller:

The Windows Installer Cleanup Utility also helps cleanup some stuff
