cd rom software will not install not sure if this is the right forum

I recently took my computer to a repair shop to have the internet speed tested as my broadband was VERY SLOW. I have noticed since I brought it back home that the cd rom software for my camera will not load (the start up menu does not appear on screen), neither will the manual. I have also tried to re install all my computer games and none of them will run although I can hear the cd spinning. :thumbsup:

Before I took my pc into this shop I could install/uninstall all the camera and games as and when I wanted. Does anyone know why this has happened? Many thanks for any info suggested.

When you open My Computer does the drive show in the window?

Hello Mark,

Yes the drive shows in the window when I open my computer. I should also add that the DVD player has gone the same way. That is also showing in the My Computer window. Very strange goings on me thinks :thumbsup:
