Morning guys, I recently built the above rig and may want to install a 500 gig Seagate SATA drive to use for Vista 32 bit. Will I see both drives or how can I tell from boot? Do I need to do anything in Bios? See, I am running openSUSE in the first slot. Thanks for all replys,Alan

Is the Linux drive IDE or SATA ?
I know on a single HD with 2 partitions [each treated as a drive] that with Kinux & Windows installed you get a option as to which OS to start as boot .
I'm not sure if it works the same with 2 actual [seperate] drives though.

Joe thanks for the response, It's SATA, I want to install another drive, SATA and use Vista OS, mainly for music. Can you tell me if I should install Vista in the first SATA connection ??

I'm not real familure with dual boots on seperate HD's using Linux & Windows.
I don't know if you will get a automatic boot loader that offers the option of which drive to start.
You might want to google it to get more accurate info , here,

I tinkered around with Kubuntu for a while on a two hard drive setup. If you install Windows first then Linux, the GRUB bootloader will handle loading, Using two drives is a good idea as you don't have to worry about partitions, you just tell the installer to use a disk and off it goes. As for music, I was able to listen to most of my music through Amarok. The only problem I had was with lossless files. I had to convert WMA Lossless to another format for playback.
