If you can't get any other Win9x/ME compatible sound card do as suggested, put Win98SE which is better than WinME. :flowers:

Have you checked Driver Guide?
www.driverguide.com

I get a lot of drivers there.
Make sure to read the reviews before downloading
In the beginning there was the command line.

I'm wondering if you might have the "CT" number also. That would help in your search.

On the back side of the sound card there should be a number similar to CT4780 or something similar.

Yes I've done a search on there and they do show drivers for sound blaster 5.1 and WinME, not as many as for Win9x and WinXP. They don't really specify sb0680 though. I wouldn't that thought it would have made a difference between 9x and ME. You have to join before you can download anything nut it doesn't cost you anything and you get no spam of them. If you download any files then they normally ask for a report the next time you no on to tell them if they work or not.

How come you have this sound card without drivers did you buy it second hand?
