Garmanma-
That is a great story hahah. I have a 12 string and have no way of putting it in a case. (Short of cutting it hahaha).

Missplaced-
It's a pity Shooter doesn't get any airplay. Nashville hates him just like they hated his daddy haha. Once he starts raking in the cash, the'll like him I bet :D
Also, about Taylor Swift-
I do like her, her slow songs I think are good, and it's great a young musician is writing her own songs. That said, I do like her voice, but she is in no way shape or form a great singer. She certainly caught a bIG break somewhere along hte lines didn't she?

Everyone interested in Shooter-
http://www.myspace.com/theofficialstargunnpage

This is his pre-county band. He was in his early twenties or so. Look at some of his pictures compared to now. He is thin, no facial hair, no aviators. One picture is IDENTICAL to Johnny Depp. But to the music. The cover "Sunset Boulevard" is amazing, I think. It sounds almost like Tesla. You can defintely tell he is a rock and country fan in huge amounts.

If you want to hear the "country" Shooter hit a rock n roll note, listen to In Color from him and Jamey's Crossroads. The 2nd to last chorus (where the band drops out for a beat and comes back in) the line "should have seen it in..."
Listen to Shooter sing "Color". It's a breathtaking note

It's unbeleievable that Doc learned to play guitar blind. What I think is even more impressive (not that Doc's ability isn't), is the fact that Ray Charles, Ronnie Milsap, and Stevie Wonder can play piano blind. It's humbling, intimidating, and inspiring all in one

Speaking of blind musicians, don't forget Jeff Healey... though he wasn't "country", he was an awesome guitarist.

OH YEAH
I totally forgot about Healey. The most amazing thing I ever saw was him Stand up and play a solo. For one, it's over hand. Plus he is obviously blind. Very few nonblind people could manage that. Simply amazing in every way

Oh man...there are so many. Lately the newer artists songs i like are far and few between.
I find myself listening to the old stuff my Dad listened to when we were little, like:
Tom T. Hall,Red Sovine,Hank Williams Sr. Etc....
I am also a huge Garth Brooks fan. Old Randy Travis...
Garth Brooks-The Dance is a very powerfull song for me..also If Tomorrow Never Comes....

I cant for the life of me remember the artist that sings If I Don't Make It Back but that one chokes me up too.
Anyway I could go on forever so Ill just leave this short list...
