Do I even need a video card? Photoshop/Media production I have on board video with my Mobo

The mother board I'm potentially getting for my next build is the ASUS P5QPL-VM which has Intel GMA 4500.

This computer will be doing heavy internet networking and media viewing. It's also a production computer for photoshop and basically the Adobe Suite (lite video editing, probably non at all). No games.

Do i need an external video card to handle this workload?

I would get a decent one, but it's up to you
You can always try it first and if you're not happy with the onboard you can always purchase a card later
