Windows Vista
HP Pavillion dv6000
AMD Turion 64 x2
3 ram

I am having problems click on clicking "Connect to a Network" My internet works fine both wireless and LAN. My laptop does have a switch to switch wireless on/off.

The little connection icon in the lower right hand corner next to the clock will not let me click on "Connect to a Network" I can click on the one below it "Networking and Sharing Center" and it opens fine.

The only way to fix this problem is to System Restore, but after time I have to constantly do this.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks

Have you tried going into your services to make sure your DNS Client is set to "Automatic Started"
If life is not an option then why are we not given the option in the first place !

So, you WERE able to get this fixed?

I'm just curious in case someone else comes up with the same issue.

Cheers,
