BleepingComputer.com: NT Backup Failure

Could do with some help. I've tried twice to backup my XP micro tower system over the network to a secondary shared drive in my Win2k laptops ultra bay. Event viewer is absolutely littered with Errors:

The laptop backs itself up fine to this media. Is there any further trouble shooting?

Well...have you previously backed up in this manner?

Does NTBackup purport to be able to do this...in this manner?

Well I've done it before but backing up much slower hardware, if that makes a difference? I thought Wireless G network would be quicker than USB 2.0. But maybe I will try same disk by USB.

I've never used NTBackup...but my understanding is that it always has to be backed up to a drive.

No support for writing backups to CD/DVD, etc.

I could be wrong.

Well this is a physical drive only over the wireless network. Used to work with my older hardware.
