MS has issued a final Windows 2000 rollup prior to discontinuing support for this version. Users should know that this update includes fixes not already handled in the security update process:
"Update Rollup 1 contains additional enhancements that increase system security, reliability, reduce support costs, and support the current generation of PC hardware."

Be aware that the update will not be distributed immediately over updates!

Here is the link to all the pertinent informations:

Regards,
John

That's right.

In my experience:

Win ME - highly unstable OS.

Win2K - stable OS.

WinXP - highly unstable OS.

There has to be a deeper meaning in all this ...

Pardon me, but I'm gonna' have to call BS on that. But (FACT!) Linex anything beats all Windows OS`s every time, hands down.

I certainly agree with you guys.Win 2000 is the best win OS choice.I personally like it for it uses less resources over the other win OSs.

l think over all Windows 2000 (Both server and Professional) are the best Operating system.
XP/Server 2003 Are Next.

Both are Great versions Of Windows N.T.

my computer is a windows vista ready by I still use windows 2000 pro on it.

I simply like its simplicity and compatibility over other new system. Windows XP is another good operating system for me.
