Hows it going everyone. Brand new to the board and in need of some help. Ok, so I have the recovery dvd and I boot my pc from it. It loads and brings me to the install screen for vista, I click on repair computer and this is where the trouble starts. I go to do a complete pc restore and when it goes to scan it shows that there is no hard disk or media that has a backup, but the dvd is in the tray. Is there any type of specific reason why the dvd is not being read even when the pc boots from it. I am not that great when it comes to pcs but this is really starting to bug me. Any type of help would be great, thanks. Oh and the pc is systemax, have contacted them with no help what so ever.
