Hi.

Whenever I put a CD (it ONLY happens with CD, not DVD...) in to my computer, and iTunes is open, I get a BSOD. I didnt end up taking a photo of the bluescreen as my camera batteries are charging, but I have the error code form the event viewer.

Quote

Error code 100000d1, parameter1 ffffffff, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 ffffffff.

It seems this issue only happens with iTunes, because once my computer restarts after the BSOD, I don't get another one, unless I open up iTunes and try to play the CD. But, if I don't open up iTunes and use WMP, I have no issue. I can listen and rip CDs perfectly.

This isn't a recent issue, I've had it for a while, but I'm only deciding to do something about it now :flowers:

I'm pretty set on this being an issue with iTunes, so I'm thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling the newest version of iTunes. But, I wanna see what the experts have to say first

OK...my general rule is...if something only occurs when a given application is running...it's probably best to remove said application (because it's damaged) and see if the problem goes away.

Uninstall/reinstall.

It might help to also check Event Viewer for possible clues.
