Have been reading about the 10 Firefox extensions that help to keep you safe. Dr. Web Anti-virus caught my eye. Was wondering if there would be a conflict with my current virus software. A few others are quite interesting might be things we FF users need to grab.

The Dr Web extension shouldn't conflict with anything, but IMHO it is unnecessary and wastes time.
