Hi people, I went to do my weekly scan with SAS this afternoon. I use it as an on demand scanner so the first thing I did was update it. I use Comodo CIS v3.9 and Spyware Blaster as real time protection and have SAS and MBAM as malware scanners used in a rota system. Almost as soon as the SAS update finished I got a screen appearing advertising for me to download a program called Super Adblocker. I was a bit suspicious as other than the update I was not online at the time so thinking it was some type of malware I used the task manager to end it in processes.
After the SAS scan had finished without finding anything I might add I decided to google Super Adblocker and found that it is a legitimate program and I think belongs to the same people who own SAS. Can anyone tell me what it does?. I use Firefox as my main browser with the No Scripts and Ad-Block+ add ons. Is Super Adblocker going to improve my security or will it conflict with Spyware Blaster?. Thanks for any advice offered. |
