I have had my laptop for six months. Never had a problem like this until last week, when opening Facebook started causing my Firefox to crash randomly. I did a reformat a few weeks ago, because my laptop was full of crap and frankly, the easiest way to clean it up was to just start fresh. But this issue is starting to drive me crazy, especially since it doesn't happen with IE -- and I have no intentions of going back to IE if I have any choice at all.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this issue? It never happened before I did the reformat, and it happens constantly at this point. I've run virus scans and nothing is coming up, so I'm thinking it's not a virus. Plus, I mean, if it were a virus, I'm thinking it would occur with more than just Facebook.

Anyway...if anyone has any ideas/advice, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Have you tried Firefox safe mode? If that works, manually disable your themes, addons, plugins, etc.. until it crashes, then remove that addon or whatever.
