My step son was looking at porn on my computer and now I receive messages that say I need to ChckDisk (or something like that) claiming I have corrupt files. I have tried system restore and I cannot get to any calendar month previous to May 25 (the day the porn was viewed) ...
How do I remove these corrupt files ??

Hello nnielsen and welcome to the forum!
Viewing those types of things will not cause the system to want to run chkdsk or should not corrupt files on your computer. Please post the exact error message. That would be very helpful!
The best way to run chkdsk is from good old MSDOS
I assume you haveWindows 98 as that is the forum you posted in
To do that click Start - Shutdown - Restart the computer in MSDOS mode
When it reboots it should bring you to a DOS prompt.
From there type:
CHKDSK C: /F
(capitalization is unnecessary but note the spaces!)
It could take a long time. Let it finish and see if that takes care of the problem

In the beginning there was the command line.
