Ok I did A fresh XP pro install and I am missing ethernet controller driver.
An EVEREST report file is atached.

Please point me to where I can get the drivers for this.

You have a Intel D946GZIS motherboard.

Here are your drivers,

I suggest you install the Chipset [INF] driver first followed by the video, sound , & LAN drivers.

I have a similar problem. I reinstalled Windows XP professional on my Dell Dimension 4700 and now can't connect to the interenet because I don't have the ethernet adapter driver installed. I went to the Dell driver download site and tried to download what I think are the correct drivers to my laptop to then put on my pc but the drivers wouldn't download. Any suggestions ? should I start a new thread?
