I built a lovely maching about a year ago running on the P5N32-E SLI Plus Mother board from ASUS. Currently running 6Gb of Ram, a Seagate Barracuda Drive (320GB) and the GeForce 8600GS (can't remember the brand off the top of my head).
Yesterday my wife went to go pay the bills online and the computer froze at the bios splash screen. I have removed the RAM and tried to boot with only one RAM chip in (alternating each chip out and tried all 4) with no different results. I have tried clearing the CMOS as per the manufactures instructions, and still nothing.
I wanted to try to update the BIOS as it is the same that came when I bought it and there have been several updates. I DO NOT have a floppy drive, so I am stuck. How can I upgrade the BIOS without a floppy drive and not being able to enter the SETUP screen to the BIOS.
Any suggestions on other possible fixes are welcome as well.
Thank yiou.

You can always buy a floppy drive. As long as you have USB ports a removable floppy drive won't cost too much.

umm.. I am looking for a way to do it without the floppy, because I can not get into my BIOS to change the boot order to even add the floppy. Thank you though.

When you go to the site where your BIOS upgrades are, is there not an option to download an ISO so you can burn a disc? Or are you saying a CD (or DVD, whatever you have) wouldn't work either.
EDIT: NM I just reread your post. You are freezing before you can get to BIOS. I know you said you tried to reset your CMOS using the manufacturers instructions, but would you mind posting them?
