I have lost the sound and need help bringing it back. I have windows 98 and it allways had the little speaker on the lower right corner and it's also gone.

Well if I were you I would check the settings in C:\WINDOWS\SNDVOL32.EXE make sure the volume it turned up and nothing is muted.

If you really want your speaker icon in the Systray next to the clock then goto Control Panel - Sounds and Multimedia and put a tick back in the Show volume control in the taskbar. While you are in Control Panel click on System and Device Manager make sure there are no exclamation marks by the Sound, video and game controllers.

That does not appear to be a correct model number. Nothing shows up in their database
