Sounds like your audio driver is corrupt
What is the make and model of your computer?

Well if I were you I would check the settings in C:\WINDOWS\SNDVOL32.EXE make sure the volume it turned up and nothing is muted.

If you really want your speaker icon in the Systray next to the clock then goto Control Panel - Sounds and Multimedia and put a tick back in the Show volume control in the taskbar. While you are in Control Panel click on System and Device Manager make sure there are no exclamation marks by the Sound, video and game controllers. dry.gif

I've been programming with VB for 14 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.

That does not appear to be a correct model number. Nothing shows up in their database
