Hello,
I use Windows XP Professional SP3 . My default browser is IE,and email is OE. I have started having some problems today. Twice my computer has just shut itself down and immediately rebooted itself while I was surfing the internet. In additon, both OE and IE have been crashing a lot more often today. I am not getting any BSODs. Scanning with AVG reveals no infections.
One thing I noticed was that both times the computer shut down and rebooted, I was running Rhapsody. And Rhapsody is behaving a little strangely too. Normally when I click the desktop Icon for it, it takes me to the site, already logged on. Today it is showing me as not logged on,so I have to log on.
Do you think Rhapsody has somehow gotten corrupted and is doing something to cause my computer to crash? Or what else could it be? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. I will check back later. PS, as I was typing this just now,IE tried to crash, but somehow recovered so I didnt lose this post.
Becky

Sounds like more of a power or power supply problem

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
