I agree with him. it is possible to host web page form your pc. You can search hosting sites form the google.
you can find lot of hosting sites some of them paid as well as free also...

Yes, it is. I am running windows XP pro as my test web server!
I remember when i was reseaching this i took weeks to find something that worked and worked well...
i would try looking into WAMP, XAMPP (i'm using this) or one i have found recently is UniServer. But before doing that i would check with you ISP, they may be blocking ports.
