Friends system won't boot all the way, even in safe mode. BSOD says Explorer error. Is there a keystroke I can use to go directly to System Restore during boot?

What OS is your friend using? Can you give me that exact error message.

Hi yes put error message up will help you, as i have list with most error messages and what they mean
Now installed Microsoft Security Essencials on my Tower with Windows Home Premium 32bit and Toshiba Satellite Pro Laptop with Windows Home Premium 64bit
