moniter problems moniter will not come on

The computer is on the moniter shows nothing no welcome page just a blank screen s.o.s.

Have you tried rebooting the computer? Have you tried turning the monitor on then off? Have you checked the cable going from the monitor to the Computer tower? Does the cable wiggle at all where its connected to the tower (indicating there may be a broken solder joint)? Those are where I would start. Please post back your replies and let us know. :huh:
