hi avg keeps slowing down my pc is there any way to stop it from slowing

The best way to fix it is download a fresh AVG
Uninstall the one you have
Reinstall using the new one
During the install watch the screens & when the option is presented choose to do a Custom install
Take the checkmarks out of Link Scanner & Additional Languages
finish the install
During the setup you might want to remove the checkmark for Daily Scan & disable it also.
[You don't really need to do a full scan every day]
