Help
If I have a CD with Vista on it, why can't I put it on as many computers as I'd like? I've installed it on my desktop and just recently on my laptop. The laptop just acts as if I'm running it on a 30 day trial.

It seems like you are implying there are known ways to "get around it." I didn't catch that in the EULA. Hell I didn't even read the EULA. Do they offer Operating Systems that can be put on multiple computers.
I find it odd hat it states it can be on "one desktop/workstation processor". I'm running dualcore. That's kinda a little bit more than one processor.

Any Linux distro is free. Shipit will send you 10 copies of Ubuntu for free
You can have a quadcore processor, it's still only one CPU
It's always been that way. They're just more serious in tracking illegitimate copies now
