I'm trying to get into the BIOS of an old machine I have just aquired. The BIOS is AMI but the opening screen flashes by so quickly I cannot read it. I've tried every function key but without success.

What do I press?

The [Delete] key is the most common for AMI. [F2] is another to try, after that the [Esc]ape key.

You want to pounce on the key right when the BIOS screen comes up. Or even just hold it down during boot up to get there.
