I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, I have my email account setup under Windows Mail, I know that in Outlook Express that you could set up an AWAY MESSAGE. Can that be done on Windows Mail?

You mean Windows Live Hotmail?

The only way i know that you can set an away message is by using your web browser and going to the hotmail site directly.

I'm guessing you're actually talking about Windows Live Mail (the desktop client), right?

This is a client that downloads your mail from various online mail accounts (Hotmail.com, live.com, etc.) so you'll need to go into those programs and set your away statuses/autoreplies.

Cheers,
