I have a Windows 98SE and my flash player is not working. When I try to watch videos or anything else that uses Flash, I am told to upgrade to Flash Player 10. I believe I have 9. Although Adobe says that Windows 98 is not supported, they list the minimum requirement as having a IntelŪ PentiumŪ II 450MHz. I have a Pentium III. Can I install it anyway? Thank you for the help.

You need to use the Flash uninstall tool first and then install the new version.

You haven't said which web browser you using but the last version of Adobe Flash Player that runs on a Win9x/ME system is Flash Player 9.0.124.0 (IE) or Flash Player 10.0.22.87 (Non-IE). I know v10.0 says Windows (All Versions) but it doesn't install.

Adobe only advertise v10.0 now.

I can't use YouTube because my Flash Player 9.0 isn't compatable. Thats something us older OS have to put up with.
