After studying the BC tutorial and downloading Autoruns my first attempt to remove a Program from the Vista startup list resulted in "Autoruns Access Denied" dialog stating "Error changing item state: Access is denied" with option buttons "Run as Administrator" and "OK".
Clicking "Run as Administrator" produced a few screen flickers and nothing else - even the dialog box remained. To get rid of the dialog box I must click OK but still no changes in Autoruns!
I was logged in as Administrator from the start to test the Netstat -b command.
I have Vista HP, updated only two days ago.

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
