Updating Nintendo DS Lite

I get the message..

" Failed to write a file to your Action Replay (Not enough free space)"

Any ideas appreciated

You can't update a DS Lite.
Are you trying to update your Action Replay codes database? In that case, your AR card might just be out of .. well, free space. It's like a little hard-drive.

I use a CycloDS Evolution on my DS Lite. If I ever run out of space, I'll just go buy a new and larger MicroSD card to put into the Evolution, or just delete stuff off my old one. Of course, I don't know if you can do something like that with just a stand-alone Action Replay game-card.

Here is how I finally solved it ..
turn off the DS
while off hold down A & B
Turn it back on still holding down A & B
When it comes to the screen saying Action Replay not a product of Nintendo
Instantly press start and select (if you miss that window must start over)
Never let go of A & B
a white screen should appear hold it for ten seconds

Then it comes to the main screen of the Action Replay, all memory is erased and you can do anything.

Button combos for wiping the AR card's memory, I presume?
Well, again, I suggest you get a flash device instead of relying on a stand-alone AR card.
