Hello folkes

i am trying linux eeebuntu i downloaded the .iso file and transfered it to a sd memory card and have been playing with it for a few hours and i like it. i would like to remove XP from this pc and just use this one for the linux. i dont know much about linux only what i have read.
so can i reformat the drive and wipe it clean and then put the memory card back in and boot into eeebuntu and then click the install button? a step by step instructions would be nice
or can i install and have it overwrite XP?
any help is always appreciated.

No expert here by any means but I have a computer
with only Ubuntu 9.04 installed...To do it, while installing
Ubuntu somewhere it asked if it could use the entire disk.
I agreed to that and Windows is gone (or not visible). I
believe Ubuntu just overwrote Windows.

Wait for the experts though..
