That's what I was told by my school. This is literally what I received today after I placed the request in April:

" Please submit a software review request for each title the curriculum department feels is appropriate for classroom use."

I couldn't believe it either. I have reminded the administration that this can be used at home. I've contacted our individual school curriculum director, but I'm not very hopeful.

Edited to remove most of quote, which could have been deemed as a violation of confidentiality.

Apparently they don't realize that they are not for classroom use. Check my PM.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I'm a little confused.
Is the only way to have the "get key" button is if my school participates in this program?

Your school does not participate in it per se. By that, I mean that it has nothing to do with the curriculum. The only participation on the part of your school is just to get one teacher to agree to validate that a student is indeed a student. If your school is already on the list, you won't even have to do that (again, providing that you have a valid email through your school). See if this FAQ helps answer your questions.
