If you think you are infected submit a hijackthis log here.
How to submit a hijackthis log Download Hijackthis Try running Sysclean you'll also need the virus template file from here lpt***.zip is the file you need. Also try running A2 Free and Ewido Run the scans in scan only mode\don't opt to clean as you need to submit the files your AV scanner is missing if you are infected. A comprehensive list of who to mail to is here. I'd also install/update/run Spybot This post has been edited by stidyup: Jun 24 2005, 09:50 AM -------------------- |

What kind of connexion to you have: dialup, DSL, Cable?
Are you doing all this because your number changes, or because you have problems connecting to your ISP? I am not clear about what is happening. Regards, John -------------------- Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.

I'd start with A-squared (A2) as it focuses on trojans and dialers.
It is free for private use but registration is required. Download it from here: A-squared -------------------- Soltek QBIC, Pentium 4 3.0GHz, 512MB RAM, 200GB SATA HDD, ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB, Netgear 54Mb/s WAP, ridiculously expensive Satellite Broadband Windows XP Home SP2, Trend Micro Internet Security, Firefox, Thunderbird, AdAwareSE, Spybot S&D, SpywareBlaster, A-squared Free, Ewido Security Suite. |
