Does anybody have a wireless card suggestions for an older Dell Laptop that is currently running 98.

It's a P3, don't have the machine in front of me so I don't know the specs, most cards I have seen say they are compatible for XP but nothing before.

Guess my only other option is to load this machine with a Unix OS and get a card that's compatible with Unix.

Thanks
Jeff

98 or 98SE
Any card using the Orinoco chipset should work or
16 bit pcmcia wireless network cards

I just found and old Netgear in my drawer that used to work with an old Thinkpad that I upgraded to W2k

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

If you are looking for a PCMCIA type card (not USB),
this is the one I have. Box claims Win 98 support, but
I can not confirm it. It does work great with Linux.
