Can you post the exact line item that appears in Event Viewer?
My guess is that your optical drive is dying.

I doubt that error is the cause of your problem as I get that one all the time too and it does not cause me any problems. I think you can get rid of that one by unchecking the box for digital playback in properties for the drive. I have never bothered to do anything about this error as it does not seem to really cause any problems for me. The only thing I find funny about it is that it occurs even when the drive is not being used
