Can i use windows vista w/o SP1 product key on a windows vista w/SP1??
Meaning that using a product key that come with windows vista media without SP1 to install windows vista with SP1 media?
Like using a old vista product key to install vista with SP1 integrated

I dont see why not since SP1 is a free download for all windows Vista users. in fact it would probably be just as easy to keep your vista without the sp1 installed on your machine and simply downloading SP1 from microsofts website instead of reformatting your drive.

Using a product key on an OS for which it was not intended is not allowed
